What You’ll Do

• Lead with purpose: Drive client engagements, deliver great outcomes, and strengthen lasting relationships.
• Coach and mentor: Help junior team members thrive through training, feedback, and day-to-day support.
• Be present: You’ll play an active role in the office, collaborating face-to-face (this isn’t a remote role, though flexible arrangements can be discussed post-probation).
• Show up and represent: Take Maxim to external events and forums, helping grow our brand and network.
• Shape culture: Live our values daily and help create a team environment people love being part of.

About You

• You will have attained a tertiary qualification (B.Com, B.Bus - Majoring in Accounting)
• You will have 5 - 7 years experience in Australian Public Practice Accounting firms
• You will hold a CA or CPA
• Possess high attention to detail, accuracy and high care factor
• Passionate about continuous improvement - whether it be procedures, processes or client experience
• You will have amazing communication skills - written, verbal, chairing meetings (internal and external)
• Be aligned in values with our client's - all of which centres around direct, honest communication, teamwork, taking everyone on the journey and taking pride in your work
