Unlike many Intermediate roles, from day one you will be collaborating with strategic partners such as economists, lawyers, and stockbrokers to deliver exceptional services to clients. They are currently seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to support the management team in providing outstanding financial solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). This is a rare opening, as the team has very low turnover, with some members having been with the firm for over six years. This is truly a culture that prioritises retention, from regular social events to full study support, you will be provided with all the tools to succeed, including mentorship!

In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the preparation of annual compliance (financial statements and tax returns), along with supporting work papers

Completing GST and tax reconciliations

Preparing BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns

Collaborating closely with the team to deliver exceptional client service

Liaising directly with clients to understand their needs

Assisting and guiding junior team members where possible

To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you will:

Have a minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a reputable firm

Be currently studying towards your CA or CPA (or be willing to commence)

Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Be able to provide training, support, and mentorship to junior staff
