Operation and Accounts Officer

Location: North Sydney
Contract: Full-time, October 2025 – June 2026 (maternity leave cover position)
Reports to: Financial controller

💡 What you’ll be doing

STC Trading: Stay on top of the market, trade registered STCs, and keep inventory + pricing in check.

Money Moves: Manage daily cashflows, payables, and reconciliations like a pro.

Credit Control: Keep customer credit limits in line and make sure accounts stay healthy.

Xero Wizardry: Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and handle bank recs daily.

Reporting & Admin: Pull reports, prep updates, keep inboxes in check, and make sure the team has the info they need.

Compliance & Recovery: Sort rejected jobs, manage prepaid invoices, and support reward programs.

🧩 What we’re looking for

Proficient in Mandarin

2–4+ years in accounts, operations, settlements, or trading support (bonus if you’ve touched energy/renewables).

Confident with Xero (bank recs, pay runs, invoicing).

Excel / Google Sheets skills (vlookups, pivots, reconciliations).

Big on accuracy and detail – small mistakes = big headaches here.

Clear, professional communicator who can juggle multiple priorities.

A self-starter who owns their work and isn’t afraid to suggest improvements.=
