We're on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Officer who knows their way around invoices, journals, and reconciliations. If you’ve got an eye for detail with a calm approach to deadlines, this could be the role for you.
This position is full-time covering a parental leave period until 31 December 2026. You will be based at our Helen’s Place Office in Middle Swan and once up-to-speed/approved (by our work health & safety team) you may enjoy work-from-home hybrid flexibility.
What you’ll be doing:
Processing supplier invoices like a pro, making sure everything’s where it should be and paid on time
Preparing month-end creditors, journals, and general ledger reconciliations
Handling payment runs, including tenant refunds (with a focus on accuracy)
Answering queries internally and externally
Managing authorised adjustments with precision
Keeping our electronic records tidy and up to date
Delivering informal purchasing training when needed
Pitching in to support the wider finance team when needed
👉🏼 The need-to-have…
Here at Rise, we nurture potential, but we do need you to have a few tricks up your sleeve including the following:
Solid experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance/accounts role
Confidence working with systems and processes including D365 and Excel
A sharp eye for detail and accuracy in both data entry and reconciliations
The ability to juggle tasks and meet deadlines without breaking a sweat
Top-notch communication with skills to adapt your style to suit different scenarios
Ability to work independently and thrive as part of a team

Appointments to this position will be subject to a national police clearance. Costs for new checks will be covered and/or reimbursed by Rise.
