Accounts Payable Officer (Contract – Immediate Start)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team on a temporary contract basis to assist with a high-volume backlog. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounts payable and exposure to the oil & gas or mining sectors.

You will play a key role in supporting our finance team by ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, reconciliations, and vendor communications.

Key Responsibilities:

Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Manage payment runs and ensure compliance with company policies

Liaise with internal departments and external vendors

Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks during peak periods

Skills and Experience Required:

Proven experience in accounts payable, ideally within the mining or oil & gas industry

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Ability to manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment

Proficiency in accounting software

Available to start immediately
