About the role

Gorski Engineering is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Team Leader to join our dynamic team at our manufacturing facility in Somerton, Victoria. As a fulltime Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled assemblers in the production of high-quality trailers for our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate a team of assembly workers to ensure efficient and effective production of trailers

Oversee the assembly process, monitoring quality and productivity to meet production targets

Provide hands-on support and guidance to the team, demonstrating best practices and troubleshooting issues

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and increase efficiency

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production, inventory, and team performance

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) in a team leader or supervisory role within a manufacturing or assembly-based environment

Strong technical knowledge and understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead, motivate, and develop a team

Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and the implementation of process improvements

Demonstrated experience in inventory management, data analysis, and performance reporting

Commitment to fostering a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused work culture
