ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Dispatch Team Leader , you will manage daily operations of the dispatch department. You'll coordinate workflow, ensure timely and accurate dispatch of deliveries, and lead a team to meet performance and quality targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Oversee daily dispatch operations and provide leadership to the dispatch team

Maintain smooth workflow and allocate tasks to the team members

Monitor quality standards and address any issues promptly

Develop and promote procedures to increase efficiency and ensure compliance

Collaborate with other departments as required

Lead daily team meetings and foster open communication

Report performance metrics and issues to management

Assist in other areas of production as required by production demand

Hands on in picking and packing loads

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure

Strong communication skills

High attention to detail and a proactive mindset

Can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and support others.

Commitment to quality and safety

A team-focused approach

Previous experience leading a team (desirable)

Forklift licence would be an advantage
