Mayflower Reservoir is seeking an experienced RN Team Leader to join our team. As a Team Leader you will lead an amazing team and oversee the delivery of personal and clinical care functions, ensuring quality and individualised care is provided to all residents.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, this role will-
Efficiently assess and monitor the care needs of residents and ensure they are reviewed in a timely manner.
Maintain overall responsibility for clinical and care outcomes within the allocated area.
Escalate serious incidents and concerns as required.
Ensure all documentation is reflective of individualised care delivered.
Provide compassionate and respectful person-centred care to our residents in order to maximise their lifestyle options and ensure their independence is encouraged.
Liaise with the residents, families, Allied Health Professionals and relevant internal stakeholders to facilitate person centred care.
Good understanding of SIRS.

The successful candidate will have:
Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
Minimum 5 years of experience in aged care and 3 years in a similar role.
A caring, energetic, and professional approach to support residents with a diverse range of needs.
Knowledge and understanding of the diverse needs of older people and people with disabilities.
Knowledge of the Aged Care Standards.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Qualification requirements: Current registration with AHPRA- Registered Nurse Div 1
A valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate and Flu Vaccine (as required by the Government for aged care workers).
