Executive Chef

The Role

Seeking a driven Executive Chef to lead hospital foodservice operations. Responsibilities include managing a team of chefs and food service assistants, overseeing patient meal delivery, running an on-site café (with a second opening soon), and hosting cooking demonstrations. Collaborate with renowned chef Stefano Di Pieri to deliver restaurant-quality meals in a healthcare setting.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Trade Certificate in commercial cookery, experience within food services environment

Demonstrate ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgement and flexibility in solving problems

Experience in leading a team in a Food Services operational service ideally within hospitals/health care

Demonstrated knowledge and practiced implementation of quality systems, Food Safety programs, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Food Safety Standards, National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and Dietary Guidelines.

Ability to effectively manage while operating under time constraints
