Seeking a strong and experienced Sous Chef with with progressive ideas, passion for quality produce and the ability to service a 150+ seat public bar and lounge with ease.

About The Job

Ensuring high quality of food produced across the venue daily

To assist in food costs and meeting targets

Food Safety and OH&S management

Contributing to menu development and daily specials

Ordering, maintenance and management of stock protocols adhered

Working closely with key managers to develop a high standard of communication and collaborative problem solving

Support junior chefs and apprentices with care and commitment

About You

As an experienced chef you will join the existing kitchen team with ease. You will assist the head chef to provide exceptional service and support the junior kitchen members.

Motivated and hands on to deliver results

Have great time management and planning skills

Strong and fair leadership, clear communication and skilled teamwork

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain quality standards

Experience in high volume kitchens an advantage

Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role in a busy kitchen
