We’re on the hunt for an experienced Sous Chef to join the talented team at Plus 5 Bar, a modern Australian restaurant in the heart of Melbourne’s bust South Wharf district.

Plus 5 offers modern Australian dining with a distinct European and Asian influence. The menu celebrates fresh, seasonal produce, blending contemporary Australian flavours with classic European techniques.

Think hand stretched pizza, tapas, pastas, vibrant share plates, and beautifully plated mains inspired by the kitchens of France, Italy, and beyond. From oven baked gnocchi to sizzling scallops with ouzo and lemon, every dish is designed to showcase quality ingredients with simplicity and flair.

The atmosphere is stylish yet approachable—perfect for a lunch, bottomless brunch, after-work drinks, or relaxed dining with friends and colleagues.

What we’re looking for:
