Key Responsibilities

Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and order supplies

Monitor quality at all stages of preparation and presentation

Collaborate with managers, kitchen, and service staff on food preparation

Demonstrate cooking techniques and advise on procedures

Prepare and cook Japanese dishes such as ramen, sushi, and tempura

Enforce hygiene and safety regulations

Assist with staff selection and training when required

Oversee freezing and preservation of foods where necessary

About You

Experience in Japanese cuisine preferred

Strong commitment to quality, hygiene, and kitchen standards

Good communication and teamwork skills

Reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate about cooking
