Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming and checking in patients

Managing appointments via phone and email

Handling medical billing and Medicare/DVA/private claims

Coordinating patient correspondence and referrals

Supporting medical practitioners and nursing staff with daily administrative tasks

Maintaining high standards of organisation and patient care at reception

About You:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a medical receptionist role

Experience using Genie practice management software is highly regarded

Confident using technology and adaptable to new platforms

Professional, courteous, and patient-focused communication style

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Well-presented and comfortable working in a busy environment

Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude
