Full-Time Medical Receptionist

Location: Moonee Valley Specialist Centre, Specialist Rooms
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm or 10:00am–6:00pm (rostered a month in advance)

About the Role

We are a busy, well-established specialist medical practice seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist. This is a fast-paced, highly automated environment requiring strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

You must have proven experience using Genie software and be confident managing a wide range of administrative and patient-facing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and manage check-ins with professionalism

Verify and update patient details and referrals with accuracy

Handle high-volume phone lines and appointment scheduling

Process payments via Square and submit Medicare claims

Manage doctor and nurse diaries efficiently

Liaise with the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

Open and close the clinic depending on shift

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years’ experience in specialist rooms

Genie software proficiency is essential

Strong communication, multitasking, and data entry skills

Immaculate presentation and corporate attire

Friendly, can-do attitude and team-oriented mindset
