About the role

Corio Village Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. This is a vital role that plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our busy medical practice located in Corio, VIC 3214. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our clinical team.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling appointments and managing the patient booking system

Handling patient inquiries, both in person and over the phone

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Assisting with the collection of patient information and fees

Providing general administrative support to the medical team as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience working in a medical or healthcare environment, ideally as a medical receptionist or administrator

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a caring and professional manner

Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in using medical software and computer systems

A friendly, positive and customer-focused attitude
