About the role

We are seeking an experienced Casual Medical Receptionist to join our growing team and support our day-to-day operations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Greet patients on arrival

Answer phone & email enquiries

Schedule appointments

Invoicing & processing payments

Document management & data entry

General administrative & house-keeping duties

Triaging patient needs

Maintain confidentiality of all patient information at all times

Hours:

Weekly hours & shift start/finish times will vary to fill gaps in our roster & provide leave cover

Availability on Mondays & Fridays is essential

One weekend per month on a rotating roster (Saturday 8:15am to 1pm, Sunday 8:45am to 12:30pm)

There may be the opportunity for this to become a permanent part-time role for the right candidate

About you

Previous medical reception experience essential

Flexible, reliable & dedicated

Friendly, professional & caring manner

Strong attention to detail & ability to multi-task

Excellent communication skills & ability to work well within a team

Proficient computer skills (experience with Best Practice would be advantageous)
