About the Role Dandenong City Clinic, a very successful, busy and long-established Medical Practice (35 years) is seeking their next superstar Practice Manager to join the team and lead the way to continued and ongoing success.
Taking over the reins from their much-loved Practice Manager who has been with them since they first opened their doors, in this diverse and busy role you will oversee the full scope of the clinic’s daily and strategic operations – including financial management, HR, compliance, and business development.
This role is perfect for a proactive Practice Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys creating structure, and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care. You’ll work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure smooth practice operations while implementing systems that support growth, quality improvement and exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day practice operations including systems, stock, IT and facilities
- Coordinate payroll, financial reporting and GP payments
- Maintain financial compliance (super, ATO, debtors/creditors, BAS, MYOB)
- Lead HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, training and performance reviews
- Maintain all compliance and accreditation requirements including WHS and policies
- Ensure the clinic operates to a high standard of safety, service and care
- Drive business growth through marketing, strategy and stakeholder engagement
With a thorough and extensive handover from the current Practice Manager, your transition into the role will be seamless and well-supported.
About You
- Minimum 3 years in a GP Practice Management role
- Strong leadership, team development and communication skills
- Financially savvy – budgeting, payroll, reporting and software (MYOB)
- Skilled in compliance, risk management, HR and employment law
- Able to implement and manage systems, strategy and service delivery
- Experience in Medical Director and/or Pracsoft highly desirable as well as MYOB.
- Outstanding communication skills, great attitude and personality; ability to get the job done with minimal supervision and a respectful, personable approach to practice management.
The Offer
The role is offered as a permanent full-time position with a salary range of $90k - $100k + Super depending on experience.
