Practice Manager
De Silva Kids Clinic is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our team. As our Practice Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of both clinics (Mill Park and South Morang). You will cultivate a workplace environment that nurtures and rewards the team, manages administration systems, oversees team workflows and contributes to the strategic growth of the business, whilst maintaining the highest level of service delivery to our staff as well as our families. With your experience in dealing with clients accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you will support our staff and families in navigating changes and accessing NDIS services.
Key Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day operations, scheduling, facilities and resources.
Deliver exceptional customer service, oversee onboarding of clients and staff, building strong relationships with clients, families and referrers, and maintain accurate records.
Address client feedback and concerns promptly and effectively.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, workflows and strategies to optimise overall team and clinic performance.
Lead and manage a team of therapists and administrative staff, while fostering a positive team culture.
Support HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
Work collaboratively in a team with the CEO and Operations Manager.
Reporting directly to the CEO
Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, including AHPRA, SPA, Medicare, NDIS requirements and health and safety standards.
Collaborate on business development initiatives and strategic planning.

About You
We’re seeking a seasoned professional with proven leadership experience and a deep understanding of the NDIS and healthcare operations. The ideal candidate will have:
3+ years of experience as a Practice Manager or Assistant Manager in an allied health or general healthcare setting that has dealt with clients accessing the NDIS.
Proven ability to manage clinic facilities, front-of-house, and administrative teams.
Strong knowledge of practice management software, rostering, and workflow optimisation.
Understanding and experience in healthcare compliance and the NDIS.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring and managing teams.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and service excellence.
Is empathetic and emotionally intelligent, supporting team morale and client satisfaction.
Has a strong understanding of accreditation, compliance and relevant regulatory requirements (Medicare, NDIS, health and safety).
Has a solutions-focused mindset, excellent attention to detail and thrives on improving systems and workflows.
Is highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Loves being part of a growing team that makes a positive impact on children's lives.
Holds a current Working with Children’s Check (WWC) and a current First Aid Certificate (CPR).
Required Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a healthcare or allied health practice management role.
Knowledge of NDIS frameworks and funding systems.
Proficiency in practice management software and digital tools.
