Location: Site-based Maryvale Solar Farm, Wellington NSW

Solmech is a leading renewable energy contractor specialising in large-scale solar farm construction across Australia and New Zealand. We’re expanding rapidly and are seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team to maintain and service our fleet of machinery and vehicles. we are offering a full time salary with living away from home allowances ontop.

About the Role:
This hands-on role will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and general maintenance of our gear, which includes:

Company vehicles

Gayk piling rigs

Telehandlers

Skid steers

Excavators

Drill Rigs

Other mobile plant used across our solar farm projects

What We’re Looking For:

Trade qualification as a Fitter or relevant mechanical experience

Previous experience working on similar plant and machinery

Ability to work independently on remote/project-based sites

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Willingness to travel between projects as required
