The role as Sous Chef combines culinary expertise with management skills to supervise kitchen staff, ensure food quality and safety and manage the kitchen in the head chef's absence. You'll work alongside our Head Chef and fellow team members to deliver consistently high-quality dishes for our valued patrons to enjoy.
You will have:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a high volume kitchen with Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of food safety.
Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Act with integrity, honesty, and fairness towards colleagues, suppliers and customers.
Adaptable, willing to learn and grow, and able to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
