The Lillywhite hotel group is Family-run hotel group with Hotels in Charters Towers Mareeba and Townsville. Our hotel group is recruiting sous chef for the Riverview Tavern

Sous Chefs are key positions within our business and one that will require working closely with the Hotel Manager and Head Chef closely to achieve the best outcomes for our valued customers and business.

This position will suit a current sous chef looking for a change or someone looking to take the next step in their hospitality career.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills qualities and capabilities.

Assist the head chef in the overall management of the Kitchen, which may include stock ordering and menu design.

Be cool calm and collected to ensure a smooth coordinated service, while maintaining Quality and efficiency, in the absences of the head chef

Trade Industry Qualification in Commercial Cookery

Have a minimum 3-5 years industry experience

Assist in managing and maintaining all aspects of the hotel's food safety control plan

Hold a current food safety supervisor certificate

Hold a valid First Aid certificate

Ensure that hotel Lillywhite Hotel Group culinary standards are adhered to and maintained.
