Naughtons Hotel is looking for an ambitious senior chef, to assist in managing the kitchen, maintaining our high standard of food quality and train our staff. The kitchen has been fitted out with a Josper wood oven, commercial band saw and meat ageing chamber. Our menu focuses on seasonal pub fare involving whole animal butchery and sustainable sourcing.
A little bit about us: we are a friendly, family run gastro pub in Melbourne's inner north. We are passionate about food, where it comes from and how it has been raised/produced.

The role
Supporting the head chef
Running the kitchen
Assisting in menu design and creating specials
Clear communication with other members of team
Be able to work well under pressure
Possess and show initiative
Strive to ensure quality and consistency in everything produced
Experience & Qualifications
Cert 3 or 4 in commercial cookery
Experience in a similar role and environment
Background in European cooking
