About the role

Anytime Fitness is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our growing team in Narrabeen NSW. This is a part-time role that will play a vital part in supporting the overall operations and member experience at our state-of-the-art fitness facility.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the gym

Providing exceptional customer service and support to members

Coordinating and supervising the gym's staff, ensuring they are motivated and delivering high-quality service

Handling member inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner

Ensuring the gym maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and safety

Helping to promote the gym's services and special offers to attract new members

Participating in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies

Assisting with administrative tasks, such as membership management and reporting

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the sport and recreation industry, preferably in a gym or fitness centre environment

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide an exceptional member experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

A passion for health, fitness, and a commitment to helping others achieve their wellness goals

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Excellent organisational and time management skills

A relevant qualification in sport and recreation management, fitness, or a related field would be highly desirable
