Assistant Store Manager (2IC) – Automotive Industry

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Store Manager (2IC) to help drive the continued success in our busy automotive retail store.

About the Role

As the 2IC (Second-in-Charge), you’ll support the Store Manager in daily operations and take the lead when they’re away. You’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer experiences, motivating the team, and ensuring smooth store performance.

What You’ll Do

Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, staff management, and store performance

Lead, coach, and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service

Provide technical advice and product recommendations to customers

Drive sales, while oversees store presentation, compliance, and safety standards

Step up as Acting Store Manager when required

What We’re Looking For

Experience in retail, automotive, or trade industries (leadership experience highly regarded)

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to motivate and support a team

Organised, proactive, and able to handle a fast-paced environment

A passion for cars, automotive parts, or DIY/mechanical work
