An excellent opportunity is available for a motivated & skilled Bookkeeper to join the growing bookkeeping team at our Accounting and Advisory firm located in Surrey Hills.
Your proven experience working in a public accounting practice or bookkeeping firm, will enhance our team with your exceptional skills to deliver the highest level of professional service to our clients.
We are looking to recruit a full time or part time Bookkeeper, who can deliver quality service to our clients.
The Role
You’ll be entrusted with:
Comprehensive bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients (predominately Xero clients)
Processing of payroll and superannuation
BAS/IAS lodgements, account reconciliations, EOFY prep
Bank reconciliations and month‑end reporting
Preparing workpapers for review by senior accountants
Direct liaison with clients and occasional interactions with the ATO
Contributing to team improvements across processes and training

Competitive $85,000 - $100,000 package including superannuation commensurate with experience (pro‑rated for part-time)

Our Ideal Candidate
Proven public practice bookkeeping experience is essential
Skilled in Xero; MYOB, QuickBooks and other accounting software knowledge is a plus
Strong knowledge of GST, PAYG, payroll awards and reporting obligations
Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Certificate IV or Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting preferred but not essential
