Allaro Homes Cairns is known for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across the Cairns region and Port Douglas. As our team continues to grow, we are looking for a full-time Administration Officer to support project, site and office operations.

What you'll do
Prepare and process construction documentation: client selections, subcontractor and supplier quotes, work orders, variations and compliance forms.
Coordinate and lodge building approvals, permits and compliance paperwork with relevant authorities.
Be the primary client contact—set expectations, manage timelines and maintain clear, proactive communication.
Assist with accounts payable and reconcile invoices in line with project requirements.
Maintain accurate records across project management and accounting systems.
Monitor and maintain current WH&S documentation from subcontractors.
Coordinate trades, materials, site access and safety documentation.
Track milestones and approvals; keep job files accurate and up to date.
Provide high-level administrative support to management and supervisors.
General office duties to support the day-to-day running of the business.
About you
Minimum 2 years administration experience (construction industry preferred)
Reliable and committed to full-time hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:00pm).
Strong organisation and time-management; comfortable juggling priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional phone manner.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and quick to learn new software.
A proactive, "can-do" teammate who can also work independently.
Australian work rights required (Australian citizen or permanent resident)
