Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer.

The Role

As Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. This role requires strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.

Duties include:

• Raise purchase orders and arrange logistics
• Follow up outstanding orders
• Prioritise workload and ensure deadlines are met
• Quality control - ensuring stock ordered is correct and free of defects.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork in a timely and detailed manner.
• Manage Supplier relationships.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in purchasing and/or logistics preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong compliance to process and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
