We are seeking an experienced administrative assistant who will be trained to provide technical sales support for our range of single and three-phase Uninterruptible Power Supplies.
The successful candidate will work closely with our sales staff and customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of our clients’ requirements on a project-by-project basis. Utilizing proven quoting templates, you will be trained to prepare technical quotes that are specifically tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Following up with sales staff and customers is essential to gather feedback and ensure that no opportunities to close an order are overlooked.
In this multi-faceted role, you will also be trained to process orders and arrange dispatch as required. Occasionally you may also be called on to assist with picking / packing orders which involves lifting of items that weigh between 6 and 28kG. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to the manager of our Service Division whenever necessary.
The ideal candidate will be looking for a long-term position in a small business environment where every individual’s contribution is significant. It is essential that you reside within a 30-minute drive of Ormiston QLD to ensure reliability and ease of commute. You should possess sound written and spoken English skills, demonstrate strong keyboarding abilities, and exhibit excellent attention to detail. You should be comfortable engaging in conversations with individuals from various backgrounds and be adept at managing a calendar and diary efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word) and experience with CRM systems would be highly regarded.
Standard working hours for this role are from 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia without sponsorship and be willing and able to lift items weighing between 6kG and 28kG whenever necessary.
