About the Role
We are seeking a Full-Time Chef to join our professional kitchen team. This position requires a passionate, skilled, and reliable individual who can contribute creativity and consistency to our menu. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced café environment and demonstrate strong teamwork, leadership, and culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)

Assist in menu development and seasonal updates with a focus on fresh, local produce

Manage stock control, ordering, and minimise food wastage

Train, supervise, and mentor junior staff when required

Work collaboratively to deliver a consistent and enjoyable dining experience for customers

Skills and Experience

At least 1 year of full-time experience as a Chef in a busy commercial kitchen

Relevant qualification – minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

Strong knowledge of food safety, preparation, and HACCP procedures

Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Creativity and passion for producing fresh, seasonal, and visually appealing dishes

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Competitive annual salary of $75,000 – $78,000 + Superannuation (depending on experience)
