A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced full time Chef de Partie to work at the Burleigh Leagues Club.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fulltime Chef looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, high service environment. The Chef will need to be a forward thinker and will be expected to lead by example. You will use your prior knowledge within the hospitality industry to assist with the smooth running of the kitchen.

Your Responsibilities include:

● Planning and costing diverse menus for the club's bistro, casual outlets, and large-scale functions.

● Managing daily food preparation and cooking for high-volume bistro service and large event catering.

● Monitoring the quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes from the point of preparation to final service.

● Coordinating the daily workflow and operations of a large, multi-section kitchen to ensure efficiency during service.

● Demonstrating cooking techniques and training kitchen staff and apprentices on club recipes and presentation standards.

● Implementing and enforcing all workplace health, safety, and food hygiene regulations throughout the kitchen.

● Estimating food requirements, ordering supplies, and managing stock levels for all of the club's dining outlets.

It is essential that you have:

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef.

At least the Diploma degree of a related field.

Strong leadership skills.

A flair for classic and modern food trends.

Strong experience in banquet / catering.

Passion for food.

Remain calm under pressure.
