About the Role
As a Member Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in our Finance division, ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of NDIS claims for our members. You will be a key part of a team dedicated to providing an exceptional service that empowers people with disabilities.
What You'll Be Doing:
Claim Processing: Reviewing and processing NDIS claim requests (invoices and receipts) via manual input.
Compliance: Ensuring all claims adhere to NDIA requirements and align with member-specific plan details and budgets.
Communication: Liaising professionally with members, providers, and other stakeholders to clarify claim details and respond to queries. You will also contact members to confirm invoice approvals.
Administration: Submitting claim files to the NDIA MyPlace Portal and managing the results. You will also triage work inboxes, maintain client records, and review provider statements.
Continuous Improvement: Participating in learning and development activities and contributing to quality assurance processes and internal policies.
What Success Looks Like:
Member claims are processed within a defined period
Settlement of funds is facilitated within 24 hours of payment receipt
New members are set up within hours of joining Leap in!
Updates to existing member plans are adjusted in a timely manner
Daily claim errors are kept to an agreed minimum
Claim corrections including refunds are managed effectively, efficiently and comprehensively
Members and stakeholders report satisfaction with Leap in! plan management services
What You'll Bring to the Role:
Experience: You have experience in data entry and/or administration. Experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping is preferred. An understanding of the NDIS and fund management is also desirable.
Skills: You possess excellent IT, financial, and numerical literacy. You have exceptional oral and written communication skills , well-developed organisational skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
Attributes: You are analytical, adaptable, and an excellent problem-solver. You are efficient, creative, and passionate about contributing to great outcomes for clients. You take pride in your independence and are committed to active learning.
Mandatory Requirements:
Employment with Leap in! is subject to satisfactory background checks, including:
A National Police Check.
An NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or eligible Working with Disability Worker Screening Card).
Reference Checks.
