An exciting and rewarding position exists within the Cannon Hill, Brisbane team of our growing National Accounting and Business Services, Property Tax and Wealth Advisory firm for a Graduate Accountant to join our team.

Our office hours are 8:45am to 5:15pm Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break, based out of our Cannon Hill office, full-time.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Graduate Accountant to join our firm. The successful candidate will have completed a relevant tertiary degree and be a reliable, motivated, and well-presented individual who has a mature and proactive approach to work.

In this role, your duties will include:

Preparation of income tax returns for individuals

Preparation of monthly / quarterly activity statements

Preparation of PAYG withholding tax variations

Assist with the completion of financial reports and income tax returns for partnerships, companies, trusts and superannuation funds.

Liaising with the Tax Office

Assistance with the preparation of management reports for business clients

Support to accounting team members

Paraplanning support for the financial planning division

Audit support for the audit division

The successful applicant will need to have:

Strong written and oral communication skills

Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task

Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated

Enjoy working as part of a team
