The Link Youth Health Service
Posted 18 days ago
About Us:
The Link Youth Health Service is a not-for-profit organisation providing free health and wellbeing services to young people aged 12 to 25.
The Link has been providing a range of services to young people in the CBD and surrounds of Hobart and Southern Tasmania for over 30 years, including general health and wellbeing, sexual health, alcohol, and other drugs support and, since 2012, mental health services through our headspace Hobart Centre.
The Link's vision is healthy and empowered young Tasmanians and we work towards this ambition by engaging with young people and those that support and care for them: family, friends, carers and other community organisations. We believe young people should be at the centre of care and decisions about themselves and we provide safe spaces for them to do this in a non-judgmental and consent-focused environment.
About You:
We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, passionate individual with experience in Operational and HR administration who is eager to apply their skills in a purpose-driven environment.
This influential role involves supporting the operations of a medium-sized community organisation in Hobart, supporting human resources, and providing administrative and project support to the CEO, board, and management team to help achieve organisational goals.
The role would suit a well-organised professional with a passion for process improvement and empowering people to reach their full potential. The Executive Officer will oversee a small team of receptionists, providing values-based leadership and ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
This role is ideal for a high-level, values-driven administration professional who enjoys variety, has a passion for service, and is committed to balancing needs across a resource-constrained organisation.
The position is a full-time role, initially until 30 June 2026, with the possibility of ongoing employment subject to performance and continued funding.
To apply, please submit a 1-2 page cover letter explaining how you meet the selection criteria below, along with your CV, directly in Seek.
Applications close on Monday, September 8th.
