Description

As a Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large and diverse workforce. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and be part of a supportive team that values precision, efficiency, and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end payroll processing for a large employee base
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
• Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders

Profile

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
• Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing (large volume preferred)
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience with payroll systems (Chris 21 looked upon favourably but is not a prerequisite)
• A team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset
