About the role
Support the effective delivery of emergency preparedness activities for Biosecurity Tasmania.
Participate in and provide project support to key activities that safeguard Tasmania’s natural environment and agricultural industry.
- Variety of work – Programs will focus on aquaculture, plants and animals.
- Provide training and education to staff and a range of stakeholders.
- Support the learning and development of others.
- Work with a small team of passionate emergency management professionals.
Our ideal candidate has
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Adaptable, flexible and advocates change.
- Proficiency in interpreting & providing advice on key legislation and national requirements.
- Proven experience in emergency management, ideally with a biosecurity or environmental focus.
