Support the effective delivery of emergency preparedness activities for Biosecurity Tasmania.

Participate in and provide project support to key activities that safeguard Tasmania’s natural environment and agricultural industry.

• Variety of work – Programs will focus on aquaculture, plants and animals.
• Provide training and education to staff and a range of stakeholders.
• Support the learning and development of others.
• Work with a small team of passionate emergency management professionals.

Our ideal candidate has

• Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Adaptable, flexible and advocates change.
• Proficiency in interpreting & providing advice on key legislation and national requirements.
• Proven experience in emergency management, ideally with a biosecurity or environmental focus.
