We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our sales team who will be primarily responsible for strengthening the company's client base by bringing on board new clients and exploring new market opportunities.

You must be based in Australia and have full-time unrestricted work rights to be considered for this position.

The Role:

The Account Executive is responsible for delivering new business sales, building strong relationships with prospective clients, and contributing to the overall success of the sales function. This is a dynamic, outbound-focused role where you’ll combine consultative selling skills with enthusiasm to open new doors and close deals.

Job Requirements

What You Bring

  • 3+ years Sales experience, B2B sales experience is favourable but not essential
  • Strong outbound prospecting skills - you know how to open conversations and create opportunities from scratch
  • A results driven mindset, paired with resilience and enthusiasm
  • Experience selling into the Transport and Public Housing space is favourable but not essential

Job Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver sufficient new business sales to meet or exceed your personal sales target.
  • Undertake proactive sales activity to build strong relationships with prospective customers, uncover needs and position our solutions accordingly.
  • Accurately record and maintain all deals and activity in Hubspot in accordance with the agreed protocols.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or jointly position other CSE products on new business opportunities.
  • Provide input to the Marketing team to help shape marketing strategy and execution, including contribution to marketing collateral, events, conferences, trade shows etc.
  • Utilise your knowledge of customer needs, competitors, and the market to help inform Product Development.
  • Work closely with Customer Success teams to ensure new customers are handed over effectively including an appropriate level of knowledge transfer.
  • Work on or contribute to other business-related projects from time to time as required.
  • Mentor new sales team members to ensure they demonstrate the appropriate level of skill in their position.
  • Work closely with your line manager to identify and complete at least one professional development activity per year.
  • Generation of sales-related reports for senior management including but not limited to avg. deal size, pipeline growth, avg. time to close and forecasted revenue.
