Business Development Manager – Luxury Fit-Out & Custom Building Solutions
Melbourne Creative Group (MCG) is expanding and we're looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to take our Melbourne presence to the next level.
Based in Box Hill, MCG partners with mid-tier builders, boutique architects and developers to deliver luxury residential, commercial and bespoke fit-out projects. Backed by a strong international supply chain and local delivery expertise, we create custom solutions competitors can't match – from premium materials (stone, timber, glass, metal, acoustic panels) through to feature walls, ceilings, signage and architectural details.

$100,000 – $120,000 + Super + Car Allowance
Uncapped commissions with OTE $150k–$180k+ (top performers can earn more)

Your Role
Lead MCG's business expansion in Victoria
Win new accounts with builders, architects and developers
Present tailored solutions and close deals on high-value renovation and fit-out projects
Maintain and grow client relationships for repeat and referral business
Track market trends, competitor activity and pricing
Represent MCG at meetings, site visits and industry events
About You
3–5+ years in B2B sales or business development in building, fit-out or materials supply
A proven track record of winning and growing high-value accounts
Demonstrated history of achieving minimum $1M annual sales targets in B2B environment
Established networks with builders, architects or contractors in Victoria
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship skills
Results-driven, commercially savvy and motivated by growth
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Tertiary qualification in business, construction or related field preferred (not essential)
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for pipeline management and reporting
Experience with PowerPoint and other presentation tools for client pitches and proposals
Right to work in Australia and ability to pass background checks required
