The Position
This company is looking for a Business Development Manager to join them, working in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne (Head Office is based in South-East, but you're not there everyday), with a strong mix of in-office, on-the-road and WFH (working from home) in an effort to build a strong portfolio of customers.
Other facets of the role are:
- Drive growth of the business through the business development process
- Create bespoke and tailored proposals for new customers
- Maintain a sales pipeline
- Manage key accounts once incepted
- Regular reporting back to State and Head offices
- Liaising with Operations and Accounts teams for full overview of customer accounts

The Candidate
In order to be considered for this role the ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Business Development Manager role within the Waste Management / Collections marketplace
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft suite)
- Industry experience within Waste Management - either solid waste collections, liquid and technical services or HAZCHEM
- Is a strong communicator and analytical problem solver
