Our client is regarded as a World Leader in their Industry, providing innovative solutions for their customers across a broad range of Industries.

They are looking for a Customer Service Officer with previous experience in Freight Forwarding to join the team in Matraville.

About the role
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, you will be the main point of contact for a portfolio of customers. Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Act as a key contact for allocated customers
  • Process customer orders for handover to Operations
  • Monitoring and tracking shipment status for allocated customers
  • Updating customers on shipment status and ETAs
  • Customer quotations
  • Complete all billing requirements accurately including capturing all services sold or provided and applying revenue and costs correctly.
  • Processing customer claims using Cargo Wise system

About you

  • Previous experience in Freight Forwarding is essential
  • Previous experience with Cargo Wise or similar ERP system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Excel
