General Hand - Urban Forest (Tree Pruner)

Salary: $67,287 per annum ($1,293 per week)

Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)

Full Time Permanent Position

9-day fortnight

Are you interested in helping the Parks and Natural Environment team take care of the City’s Urban Forest? In this hands-on role, you will be operating machinery and equipment to carry out ground works, including tree pruning, removals, planting, and general maintenance.

To be successful for this position you will have a minimum of one years’ experience in arboriculture/horticulture and tree care and will hold the following Licenses and tickets.

WA MR Class Drivers Licence (Required).

Construction Safety Induction Card - White Card (Required).

Desirable or willing to obtain:

Relevant tertiary qualification in Arboriculture or Horticulture or relevant experience.

Chainsaw Operators Certificate.

Chemical Certificate (Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases AHCCHM307, Transport and store chemicals AHCCHM304 and Control weeds AHCPMG301).

Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate.
