Western Water Solutions (WWS) is a leading WA-based water treatment and engineering business. We design, manufacture, and service advanced water treatment plants across Western Australia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Trades Assistant & Factory Hand to join our team.

About the Role

As a Trade Assistant & Factory Hand at Western Water Solutions, you will play a key role in supporting both our fabrication and field teams. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the assembly, preparation, and general duties involved in the manufacture of our specialised water treatment equipment. While the position is primarily based in our factory, you will also be required to provide hands-on assistance to our field team on project sites across Western Australia when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times

Assisting with assembly and installation of equipment and components

General workshop duties including cleaning, organising, and material handling

Loading/unloading deliveries and maintaining workshop order

Supporting tradespeople and technicians with day-to-day tasks

Assisting in the field when required (site support and basic installation tasks)

Requirements

Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical prior to commencement

Must be mechanically minded with practical problem-solving skills

Previous experience in water treatment or plumbing highly regarded

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Manual Drivers Licence

Forklift licence (desirable, but not essential)

Previous workshop or factory experience (preferred but not required)
