Role Summary

Vasse Village by Bunbury Farmers Market is looking for a Butchers Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow within a business known for its exceptional products and quality service to our guests.

What You'll Do:

Assist our skilled butchers in the preparation and presentation of meat products.

Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, adhering to all food safety standards.

Provide excellent guest service, including taking orders and answering questions about our range of meat products.

Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.

Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the smooth operation of the meat department.

Who We're Looking For:

An enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic

Great knife-hand skills

Someone with a keen interest in the butchery trade and a willingness to learn.

Prior experience in a similar role or a food-handling environment is a plus. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a positive attitude and a passion for quality.
