Skilled General Hand – Urban Forest (Tree Pruner)
Salary: Level E $69,764 per annum ($1,341 per week)
Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
Full Time Permanent Position
9-day fortnight

Are you interested in helping the Parks and Natural Environment team take care of the City’s Urban Forest? We’re looking for personnel to join our team and get involved in maintaining and caring for City trees.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be operating machinery and equipment to carry out both ground and aerial work, including tree pruning, removals, planting, and general maintenance.
If you’re passionate about what you do and keen to grow your career, this could be a great fit. The City of Joondalup is committed to supporting the right person in gaining the certificates and qualifications needed for the role.
We are looking for someone with at least two years of experience in arboriculture/horticulture and tree care and will hold the following tickets and qualifications.
WA MR Class Drivers Licence
Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card)
Desirable or willing to obtain:
Appropriate plant operating certificates (Chainsaw certificate)
Basic Traffic Management and Traffic Control Certificates
EWP Operators Certificate
Current RIIHAN307E - HIAB Crane Certificate
Relevant training, qualification and/or certificate in Tree Assessments
Current First Aid Certificate including CPR (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009)
