The role

You’ll provide person‑centred support to adults with complex medical, psychosocial and behavioural needs across home, community and educational settings in Bundaberg and nearby areas.

A typical shift may include:

Personal and/or clinical care (medication prompts/administration, wound care, PEG feeds, mobility and hygiene support).

Implementing Positive Behaviour Support strategies and promoting emotional regulation.

Facilitating communication, including AAC and other assistive technologies.

Supporting participation in education, employment, sport and recreation; community access and transport.

Accurate progress notes, incident reporting and escalation to the clinical team.

What you’ll bring

Essential

Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or similar (or significant relevant lived experience).

Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).

Queensland NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Blue Card (or eligibility to apply).

Full Australian Driver Licence and reliable, registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

High empathy, resilience and a calm, professional approach to person‑centred practice.

Australian work rights.

Highly regarded

Experience with complex care, mental health and/or behaviour support.

Confidence with documentation and digital care systems.

Rosters & employment type

Casual and part‑time opportunities now, with pathways to permanent full‑time for high performers.

Variety of AM/PM/weekend shifts; sleepovers and active nights may be available depending on client needs.
