The Opportunity

As Business Development Manager, you'll own a regional portfolio across Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia, driving smart infrastructure solutions that transform how people move through public and private spaces.

This isn't just transactional sales. You'll represent fully integrated parking, access control, and mobility systems trusted by airports, hospitals, retail centres, universities, entertainment venues, and smart cities.

With a consultative approach, you'll uncover customer needs, design tailored solutions with technical experts, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to handover.

You'll also:

  • Work closely with engineering and software specialists to align complex systems with client goals
  • Shape go-to-market strategies and drive regional growth through insights and analysis
  • Influence infrastructure and mobility projects that impact thousands of end users daily
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to build your profile and uncover emerging opportunities

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage and grow a defined sales territory across VIC, TAS, and SA
  • Identify, qualify, and close opportunities with a strong technical and commercial approach
  • Develop and maintain lasting customer relationships to drive repeat and long-term business
  • Collaborate with technical, delivery, and operations teams to shape client-focused solutions
  • Prepare detailed proposals, tenders, and pricing in line with internal processes
  • Stay across industry trends, market movements, and competitor offerings
  • Represent the business at trade shows, events, and industry networking opportunities
  • Maintain a rolling 90-day sales plan to track and execute strategic activity

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5 years' B2B sales or business development experience
  • Experience in mobility, industrial automation or intelligent transport
  • Strong technical aptitude with a solution-oriented sales mindset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • High level of initiative and time management, you'll be trusted to run your own region
  • Willingness to travel, both interstate and international
