We’re looking for a motivated Account Manager to join our Melbourne-based team. You will manage and grow a portfolio of clients across food manufacturing, protein, and retail sectors. This role is ideal for someone passionate about packaging innovation, relationship-
Core Requirements
Strong communication skills : An excellent listener, not someone who just talks without letting others speak
Root cause analysis ability : Can systematically identify and solve problems, not just pass issues along
Project management skills : Ability to manage customer projects through the system from start to finish
Technical Capabilities
Technical aptitude for problem-solving and process analysis (doesn’t need to be plastics-specific)
Ability to work in food factory environments and understand operational challenges
Can perform on-site analysis and provide solutions, not just relay information
Building and delivering customer success through clear actions and accountability
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage strong commercial relationships across procurement, operations, and R&D teams.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
Manage end-to-end commercial projects including trials, proposals, onboarding, and contracts.
Collaborate with technical, production, and supply chain teams to meet client expectations.
Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, and account planning.
About You
3+ years’ B2B sales/account management experience, preferably in packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG.
Experience with thermoformed or plastic packaging is highly regarded.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with a proven sales track record.
Organised and capable of juggling multiple priorities across various projects.
A self-starter who enjoys working autonomously and delivering value.
Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally to NZ.
