Medical Secretary / Typist – Full-Time (Permanent)
Location: Subiaco, WA
Salary: $42–$45 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

ChoiceOne is currently recruiting on behalf of our client – a busy and well-established Specialist Clinic based in Subiaco for an experienced Medical Secretary / Typist. This is a permanent full-time position with an immediate start available.
We are seeking a dedicated and professional candidate with strong Dictaphone typing skills (70WPM) and a background in medical administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Dictaphone (audio) typing of clinic letters, reports, and correspondence
• Managing patient bookings and appointment schedules
• Answering incoming phone and email enquiries
• Preparing medical documents and maintaining patient records
• General administration and front desk support

Requirements

• Proven experience as a medical secretary or typist (cardiology experience an advantage!)
• Accurate and efficient Dictaphone typing skills is must ( 70 WPM)
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Proficiency with medical software (e.g. Genie or similar)
• Professional communication skills and a friendly manner
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
