About the role

Full-time or job-share part-time

As a Medical Secretary/Receptionist at Grow Medical Group, our specialist medical centre, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional administrative and customer service support to our healthcare professionals and patients. This full-time position is based in our Banksia Grove, WA clinic, and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients, managing appointment bookings and scheduling

Maintaining accurate patient records and medical files in our practice management system

Coordinating the flow of patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient clinic experience

Providing general administrative support, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

Liaising with other healthcare providers, such as referral specialists, to coordinate patient care

Answering telephone inquiries and responding to patient requests in a professional and empathetic manner

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a medical secretary, receptionist or in a similar customer service role within a healthcare setting

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, clinicians and other healthcare professionals

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Proficiency in using practice management software (Best Practice) and Microsoft Office applications

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
