About the role

As the Venue Manager at ROCKWELL Group Proprietary Ltd', you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our flagship hospitality venue located in the heart of Sydney. This is a full-time position that requires hands-on management of all aspects of the venue, from staffing and customer service to inventory and financial reporting.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage a team of hospitality professionals to ensure excellent customer service and a positive guest experience
  • Oversee all venue operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and financial reporting
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive customer traffic and revenue growth
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure the venue is well-stocked and running efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Monitor and analyse venue performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute the venue's strategic vision

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar venue management role within the hospitality industry
  • Extensive knowledge of hospitality operations, including staff management, inventory control, and financial reporting
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Proficiency in using hospitality management software and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to driving continuous improvement
