Mayday Recruitment is looking for for an experienced, professional Receptionist for a Global Insurer based in Charlestown.
This temporary position would suit someone who is immediately available and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Work closely with senior leadership in a tight-knit Australian office, while also gaining exposure to various departments.

- Casual assignment until Friday 19th December 2025 with possibility of extension

- Full time hours between 8:30am – 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week)
- $350 p/day inclusive of super

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors, clients, contractors, and staff with a polished, professional demeanour
- Manage a multi-line phone system: answer, screen, transfer calls, and take accurate messages
- Book, prepare, and reset meeting rooms to ensure timely readiness for attendees
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries
- General administrative tasks: data entry, filing, supply management, and keep reception areas tidy
- Ensure security and building protocols are followed, including visitor sign-in procedures
Who we're looking for
- Previous experience in a reception or corporate concierge role
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and phone systems
- Strong organisation skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and a polished professional presence
